Most people are familiar with the website Youtube. This is a great place for a business owner  to market what they have to offer others. There are a few people that have even written books  on how to start doing this.

MLM Basics - Marketing Your MLM ONline #1

What Are The MLM Basics For Marketing Online - Tip 1

If you are asking yourself ‘what are the mlm basics for marketing online’? Then you have come to the right place, because this is the first article in a series I am writing to explain the mlm basics for someone starting online marketing. When I came online to market my mlm business, I had no idea what I should be doing and wasted absolutely loads of time trying to understand the mlm basics for marketing online.

The very first, and most important thing that you need online is a system. A system will save you so much in terms of effort and time. Apart from the training the system gives you, you should know the tools necessary for online marketing, you must acquire copywriting skills and you will need someone to answer questions for you regularly at the beginning.  Learning to market you mlm business online has a huge learning curve and you can waste a considerable amount of time if you are not willing to invest in a system.

When I first arrived on the internet, I found a mentor to follow.  I soon realised that this person used a system, and I quickly plugged into that system.  The information in this system is incredible.  The first part you are led to teaches you how to set up your system, showing you step-by-step what to do.  I personally knew very little about the internet before I came online with my business, so I was not quick with the set up process. However, I soon had it up and running!

After I had everything set up, I made a plan of which marketing training I would start with, then began watching the amazing training videos.  After each section you have learnt so much about marketing that you can go out and begin working on generating those all important leads.  Although I still consider myself something of a learner, I am generating leads everyday!  Every week we have a training call webinar, usually with a guest speaker, and also a live coaching call where the leaders are calling leads in their system to show us how to prospect.

I have still not used everything in my arsenal in the back office with regards to training. It will probably take me the rest of my first year to even touch on everything offered in the back office.  We have our own online community where you can meet other members in the system and where lots of newbies ask questions about the system.  We also have live skype chat with many of the leaders in the system.

The first, and I believe the most important thing you need is a system, if you are serious in wanting to market your business online. LeadSystemPro is the system I use, because it is the best.  MLSP can be used to find leads for any type of business whatsoever, not just for an MLM business. They have recently added another facet to the system, ‘Conquer The Internet’, which will bring a new dimension to the system.  Using a system will save you from a great deal of struggling online!

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

It is very important to know how to get better search engine rankings, throughSEO and is a crucial step to being successful with your websites. Most people use search engines to find what they’re looking for, and Google is far and away the most popular search engine out there.  If you want people to find you on the web, you need to use search engine optimisation in order to get high search engine rankings.  These seven ideas will show you the way.

Use targeted, smart keywords
Keywords are the words and phrases that people type into a search engine to find what they’re looking for. The keywords you choose will define your site and who see it.Know your market niche and know your potential clients.  Research your target audience, research your competitors, both successful and unsuccessful and learn both from their successes and mistakes. Also, you may be able to maximise your keywords by optimising the diiferent posts within your blog to differing keyword phrases.

Create content
Submitting articles to article directories has become one of the most popular methods to drive traffic to your website.  Not only do the articles generate traffic, they provide non-reciprocal links, which are the most valuable kind of links according to Google’s ranking system. Make sure the content is relevant to your site, and that the quality of writing is as high as what is on the website; these articles are your best advertisement for what your site has to offer.

As they say 'content is king'. The importance of having high quality, relevant content that is updated regularly cannot be understated.Starting with a good quality website makes the other steps easier to implement.}

Use pay-per-click advertising
Pay-per-click advertising is not the steal it once was, with popularity of the search engine optimization tool driving prices up, but it can still be a valuable and cost-effective method of improving your ranking when used properly.

Don’t forget your meta tags and HTML code
While optimizing your website content for the proper keyword density is an obvious choice, don’t forget about the text that you don’t see, but Google does. Good search engine optimization includes adjusting all of your meta tags and HTML code to also reflect your chosen keywords. If you have a website about dog breeds, why label a picture “photo 1” when you can label it “purebred Yorkshire Terrier at play”. These are a great way to up your keyword density without making the content sound unnatural.

Get a site map
An easy way to make the most of your search engine optimization is to ad a site map to your website. You can either have an actual webpage that can be used by both your viewers and Google, or you can also use an XML file, which, while not visible to the public, will also Google to easily spider your site. Google.com offer some free tools for sitemap making.

7 Ways to Market Your Small Business Through Articles – For Free!

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

open led signs

If you’ve been selling products on the internet for any length of time, then you’ve already heard of article marketing.

Article marketing for your online eCommerce site, in its simplest form, is the process of writing high-quality and informative articles, that lend to your expert status on a particular subject. These articles are then distributed to several high-ranking article directories like EzineArticles.com, Goarticles.com, Articlesbase.com, and isnare.com, where you can include a brief HTML or text based author bio with links back to your website.

These links in the bio, not only send traffic back to your site, but also provide you with high-quality and authoritative backlinks from each of the article directories. These backlinks, when structured properly, can provide you with a rankings boost on the major search engines.

However, you should always maximize your articles’ exposure by re-purposing the content in additional locations. Some of the most powerful methods include:

– Chopping each article into 2-3 blog posts to add on you own site’s blog. Schedule each to post 1-3 days apart.

– Combining multiple similar articles into a special report, then selling or giving away that report as a lead generation tool on ebay, your own website, amazon.com, and other sites.

– Reading the article, out-loud, and recording your voice to make a short audiobook and/or podcast that can be disseminated to the various podcast directories like iTunes, podcast alley, and others.

– Taking the audio version of the article, and adding stock or your own photos to make a slide-show video, which you can then submit to video directories like YouTube.com, viddler.com, revver.com, and others.

– Combining the audio, video, and text versions of one or more articles on a particular subject, and make a “home study course” that could then be sold at a premium price point.

– Take one or more of your most well-received and popular articles and offer it for publication through your local newspapers and magazines.

– Take all the articles for a given period of time (i.e. month, quarter, year) and package them into a book that you can sell on amazon, or offer as premium paid content for visitors to your website.

You can feel certain that you can maximize your website’s exposure, and profits, by taking the above ideas and implementing them on each article that you write…consistently over time.If you think about your business, you probably have many projects written down on pieces of paper, on your computer, or just in the back of your mind that you know if you were able to complete them, you would see more revenue, increase your profits, become more efficient, and reach more customers.

Now, if you have employees working in your local office, you want to think about all the costs associated with having them. You have their salary. You have any benefits that you pay for them. You have the rent of their office space. You have their computer cost. And then, you have the management overhead of having someone there, local, in your office.

I’m not saying that it’s bad to have people in your office. If you like that, and it fits your business model, then it’s a great thing. It’s sometimes better to have somebody face to face where you can show them different things and resolve issues quickly. However, there are a number of opportunities where outsourcing to either another country, or, even in the same country, can be of benefit to you.

For example, if you take loading a group of 500 products onto to your website. Maybe it broadens your product line substantially, which can generate more profits, and, give you more tentacles, so to speak, on search engines to bring people to your site.

Let’s say it takes an average of ten minutes to get the data from the supplier’s site, format it, update your pricing, download the pictures, format those, and then go into the backend and actually add all the information and pictures. If you think about ten minutes per product, you can get six products done in an hour, and you have 500 products to do. That’s actually 83.33 hours of time. Now, of course, this is probably a high time estimate. So, let’s say it actually takes twenty hours. Well, is that something that you have, twenty hours to commit to adding those products? Probably not.

Also, if you have an employee in your local office do it, that’s another item on their plate. They cannot be doing something else for you. So, if they can be doing more profit generating activities, why not outsource this?

Outsourcing time-consuming tasks and one-time special projects can greatly decrease your fixed costs and free up you and your employees to allow more time to focus on more important, revenue-generating tasks such as marketing and promotion.

For example, one way many small business owners are advertising their businesses is through the use of affordable outdoor retail led signs.

If you’re new to outsourcing and don’t really know where to begin, there are actually only a very few places that you should spend your time looking for reliable and inexpensive providers. Most of these specific outsourcing websites provide you with a number of tools and services including payment escrow services, project management tools, integrated email / real-time chat applications, detailed search capabilities, and thousands of high-quality providers that are ready to bid on your job, and to make sure that they do a good job for you so you’ll want to use them again in the future.

Take the first step to removing yourself from the day-to-day operations of your small business, website, or eCommerce store and outsource today!
